Terms of Service

You enter into a binding agreement with Nordcode AS when you create a Framed account or otherwise use the service. If you use Framed on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" includes that organization.

Framed is a web application that helps videographers and production teams plan shoots — including projects, shot lists, storyboards, floor plans, equipment, and related collaboration features. Features may change over time as we improve the product.

Framed is provided as a hosted software-as-a-service. We do not guarantee that any particular feature will remain available indefinitely.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the higher age of digital consent in your country) to create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use Framed with consent of a parent or legal guardian where required by law.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@nordcode.no if you suspect unauthorized access.

One person or organization should not create multiple accounts to abuse trials, promotions, or usage limits.

Access to Framed may require a paid subscription. Prices, billing intervals, and included features are shown at checkout or on the billing page and may vary by region. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

If we offer a free trial, you will not be charged until the trial ends, unless the trial terms state otherwise. You can cancel from Billing before the trial ends to avoid charges. Unless canceled, the subscription renews automatically at the then-current rate until you cancel.

Promo codes and coupons (if offered) are subject to their stated conditions and may be withdrawn or limited at our discretion where permitted by law.

Except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise, fees are non-refundable once charged. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will review the case in good faith.

You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase, except taxes based on our net income. Where Stripe or local law requires us to collect tax, it may be added at checkout.

You retain ownership of content you upload or create in Framed(shot notes, images, floor plans, project data, and similar) ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, display, and transmit Your Content solely as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service and to provide features you use (including sharing with collaborators you invite).

You represent that you have all rights needed to upload Your Content and that it does not infringe others' rights or violate law. You are responsible for backups of important project data; we recommend exporting or downloading critical materials regularly.

Some features may use third-party artificial intelligence providers (for example, image generation) using credentials or connections you supply, or integrations we offer. AI outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or unsuitable for your purpose. You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before relying on them professionally or commercially.

We do not use your project content, prompts, or other data submitted through Framed to train our own AI models or agents. Framed is a planning tool; any AI processing that happens through it is only to provide the feature you request.

If you choose to connect or use a third-party AI service (for example Higgsfield) through Framed, that use is at your own risk and under that provider's terms and privacy practices. Prompts and related inputs may be sent to that provider. We do not control how those providers train models, store data, or use your inputs. Do not submit confidential, personal, or sensitive data to AI features unless you are comfortable with that processing.

You agree not to:

• Use Framed for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or infringing purposes
• Upload malware, or attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the service
• Harass others, or share illegal or abusive content through the service
• Scrape, bulk-export, or access the service by automated means except via interfaces we expressly allow
• Resell, sublicense, or provide the service to third parties as your own product without our written permission
• Circumvent trial, billing, or access controls

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Framed, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by Nordcode AS or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the service. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of our software or branding except as allowed by law or with our written consent.

Framed relies on third-party infrastructure and services (including hosting, authentication, storage, payments, and optional AI providers). Those services are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for outages, data handling, or changes by third parties beyond our reasonable control, except as required by mandatory law.

We process personal data to provide Framed (account details, usage needed to run the product, billing via Stripe, and content you store). As a Norwegian company, we handle personal data in line with the EU/EEA General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Norwegian law where they apply.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact support@nordcode.no. You can also schedule account deletion from your profile; scheduled deletions become permanent after the stated grace period.

We may use subprocessors (for example Firebase/Google Cloud and Stripe) to operate the service. Data may be processed in the EU/EEA and other countries where those providers operate, with appropriate safeguards where required.

We aim to keep Framed available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when practicable. Scheduled maintenance or emergency changes may occur without notice.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FRAMEDIS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the service will meet your production deadlines or professional requirements.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NORDCODE AS AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF FRAMED, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for Framed in that period, or (b) EUR 50 — except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

You will defend and indemnify Nordcode AS against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your misuse of the service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

You may stop using Framed at any time and may schedule deletion of your account from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service.

Upon termination or completed deletion, your right to access the service ends. We may retain limited records as required for legal, accounting, or security purposes. Project memberships and shared data held by other users may remain after your account is removed.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice by updating the "Last updated" date on this page and, where appropriate, by email or an in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where mandatory law requires a different process.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts of Norway have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident in the EU/EEA/UK (or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protections), you may also bring proceedings in your country of residence, and nothing in these Terms limits those mandatory rights.

Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
