Accessibility Statement

This statement applies to Framed (https://framed.nordcode.no), operated by Nordcode AS. We want everyone who plans productions with us, including people who use assistive technologies, to be able to use the service as independently as possible.

1. Our commitment

Nordcode AS aims to make Framed usable with common assistive technologies (such as screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, and browser zoom). We treat accessibility as an ongoing product responsibility, not a one-time checklist.

2. Conformance status

We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. Framed is a complex web application (projects, canvas-style editors, billing, and team collaboration). Parts of the product are reasonably accessible today; other areas, especially interactive planning views, do not yet fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA.

Status summary: partially conformant. Public marketing and account pages generally fare better than authenticated editing tools.

3. What we do

  • Use semantic HTML and labelled controls where we build standard UI
  • Support keyboard focus for primary navigation and forms
  • Maintain readable contrast on primary text and actions
  • Provide text alternatives for meaningful brand imagery where practical
  • Review accessibility when shipping larger UI changes

4. Known limitations

Examples of areas that may present barriers today:

  • Floor-plan and canvas-style editors that rely heavily on pointer/drag interaction
  • Complex nested lists and boards that may be verbose for screen readers
  • Some modals, toasts, or live updates that may not announce status changes
  • Third-party embeds and flows (for example Stripe Checkout or video players)

We prioritize fixes based on severity and how many people they affect. If something blocks you from completing a task, tell us. We will try to provide a workaround while we improve the interface.
